Spent a Wednesday night here in mid-June and booked through priceline. Bid amount was $30 ($41 and change after taxes).

Admittedly I wasn't there for an extended stay, so I didn't need the kitchenette, but I was disappointed with several aspects of the room and service. No wake up call was offered. I was told to rely on the alarm clock. The bed (a queen) was very uncomfortable and the two available pillows were disappointing. The television lineup was limited and no schedule provided or channel lineup posted in the room. The sole toiletry was a small bar of soap.

We stayed here for 2 weeks after our house fire. Great options for kids & full kitchen & table for family dinner time. We had a townhome-like room that was perfect. Staff were so helpful & friendly. Good pool area for kids. Close to Arden mall for teenager distractions. MANY restaurants nearby.

“Good Alternative to the Hilton for Longer Stays”

I stayed here for a week in February 2007. The "weekly" (7 nights) rate came in at $59.99 per night (plus tax, etc.). This is certainly a good deal if you're looking at a longer stay. The property is 2 buildings away from the Sacramento Hilton, which makes this an option to that hotel.

It is important to note this is an extended stay type of hotel. If you're expecting full service, this is not the place for you. There are no toiletries in the bathroom, although they have some complimentary items at the front desk. Maid service is once a week, although you can always ask for more towels and toilet paper/tissue boxes.

That being said, the room was a comfortable studio. Queen sized bed, recliner chair, two desks, and kitchen (2 burner stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, full sized fridge). The kitchen also had 1 pot, 1 pan, cooking utensils, silverware, dinnerware, mugs, tumbler, dish rack, and kitchen towels. The front desk provides dish liquid upon request.

Wifi is available for a flat rate. It is $4.95 billed once, no matter the length of your stay. You do have to log in at least once per 24 hour period, though. Signal was reliable. Had no problems with it.

You would need a car if you stay here. Aside from the Hilton, there aren't food options within walking distance. However, on the opposite side of the freeway (Business 80), there are plenty of dining options. Elephant Bar, El Torito, Olive Garden, Hooters, The Cheesecake Factory, to name a few. Plus, the Arden Fair mall is in the same area. The strip mall next to Arden Fair has Barnes & Noble, a movie theater, more dining, Best Buy. You have a lot of dining/shopping within minutes by car.

Good all-around deal. Will stay here again if the need arises.

GO Esa Arden!!!

I would say it’s the best hotel I ever had stayed in because the whole staff is nice and its just feels like you living in a family they help you out. And also their rooms are great for what you pay for. They have daily weekly and monthly rates. For me weekly rate worked out really well its just 59.99+tax per night because if I would have gone to any different hotel its around 140.00+tax per night. The best thing I like about their hotels that they got kitchen, microwave oven, and burner-stove top, full size refrigerator and a coffee maker. So that way I can cook my own food and safe some money. For me it was a wonderful experience and I hope if you guys go there would have the same…

“Disappointing to say the least”

Extended StayAmerica Sacramento/Arden

I spent several weeks at the hotel, which was basically a bad version of "big box" brand name hotel without soap, shampoo, or regular room seervice. The office was only open from 7am to 10pm, leaving an overnighted document locked in the office when it was needed. The staff rarely was helpful with things like dry cleaning (the two on their list were out of business), directions, noisy neighbors, etc. My key to the laundry facility didn't work which required my going to the office before washing clothes which was postponed since they had no change or change machine available. The rooms are not designed for an extended stay, they just put in a kitchen area that is a little less than funtional (although the fridge is full sized), there is no pool, gym, business office, broadband internet access (dial up access is free if you have your own local dial-up number), and finally, they only clean the rooms twice per week. This seemed reasonable until I relized that my feet were literally black from walking back and forth in my room barefoot. A call to the office was of little help; they wanted me to move before cleaning the carpets, even after I assured them they I would be gone for almost 48 hours. I compared this to a recent stay in a "cheasy" hotel in Las Vegas where people typically pay less than $50 per night, and this was much worse.
