I stayed here for a week in February 2007. The "weekly" (7 nights) rate came in at $59.99 per night (plus tax, etc.). This is certainly a good deal if you're looking at a longer stay. The property is 2 buildings away from the Sacramento Hilton, which makes this an option to that hotel.
It is important to note this is an extended stay type of hotel. If you're expecting full service, this is not the place for you. There are no toiletries in the bathroom, although they have some complimentary items at the front desk. Maid service is once a week, although you can always ask for more towels and toilet paper/tissue boxes.
That being said, the room was a comfortable studio. Queen sized bed, recliner chair, two desks, and kitchen (2 burner stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, full sized fridge). The kitchen also had 1 pot, 1 pan, cooking utensils, silverware, dinnerware, mugs, tumbler, dish rack, and kitchen towels. The front desk provides dish liquid upon request.
Wifi is available for a flat rate. It is $4.95 billed once, no matter the length of your stay. You do have to log in at least once per 24 hour period, though. Signal was reliable. Had no problems with it.
You would need a car if you stay here. Aside from the Hilton, there aren't food options within walking distance. However, on the opposite side of the freeway (Business 80), there are plenty of dining options. Elephant Bar, El Torito, Olive Garden, Hooters, The Cheesecake Factory, to name a few. Plus, the Arden Fair mall is in the same area. The strip mall next to Arden Fair has Barnes & Noble, a movie theater, more dining, Best Buy. You have a lot of dining/shopping within minutes by car.
Good all-around deal. Will stay here again if the need arises.
