We actually booked a room here based on the majority of reviews for this hotel from tripadvisor. I am picky and critical when I spend my money somewhere and I figured the other bad reviews were too. So, we booked a one bedroom suite for 3 people and a baby. On the Quality Inn website, I was led to believe they had cribs so I requested a crib in the comments section when I booked the room. We got to the hotel and I asked about the crib, the desk clerk said they didn't have any cribs. I spent the rest of the night not sleeping well, worried that my one year old would fall out of bed.
The room itself was barely okay. The pull out couch felt like you were sitting on a rock, it was so hard. I don't have any comment on the pull out bed because when is a pull out bed EVER comfortable. There was only one television. I expected the room to have a telly but all there was room for was the queen bed and the two night stands. There was no heater in there and the parents ended up freezing all night.
The suite was not thoroughly cleaned before we got there and in one of the drawers, there was raisins sitting out. Fortunately, we found them before the baby did. YUCK!!
The location was good for us but the security measures needed did not make us feel like we were in a safe neighborhood.
For our second night in Sacramento, we ended up walking into the Clarion Mansion Inn and getting a room for the same price as Quality Inn.
I do not recommend Quality Inn and I don't think I will ever stay at one again. The Clarion is a sister hotel of Quality Inn and way better quality!

It was my first time that stay at any Quality Inn. I had a business in downtown of Sacramento and i was looking for a place to park my big truck and this hotel has all I needed. Manager helped my to park my truck and quided me with a lot of information about sacramento.I noticed that they are in proccess of remodeling. the Staff were great, very friendly and knowledgable. I liked the express check out "E-mail". I liked the location.

What made my stay so enjoyable was the quality service received from the Office Manager, Frances Montgomery. As any weary traveler knows, a hearty welcome goes a long way towards making for an exceptional trip. I was warmly greeted, informed about local sites, nearby restaurants (including those that would deliver) and just generally made to feel welcome...all while she continued the check in process.

Hotel is conveniently located, parking is free (a biggie for the area!), rates are reasonable, area has secure feel (especially for a downtown facility).

Overall...a most pleasant stay. Thank you Quality Inn!

We chose this location because it was adjacent to the Convention Center. We arrived late and the lobby door was locked with a sign indicating you needed to show an ID and credit card before you could get in. There was a disco across the street with police cars outside as well. There are caged key lock doors on the stairway to keep the thugs out, but your key card won't work if you try to enter on the north side as I was told this was for "exit only". The room smelled of mold and tobacco (it was supposed to be non-smoking), and the remote control for the TV didn't work.

The "continental breakfast" was indeed pathetic: no juice in the dispenser, stale bagels, cereal of an unkown variety, AND the housekeeping staff was eating what little food was there for their breakfast. We spent the day out of the room and returned at 5:00 PM to find that housekeeping still hadn't cleaned the room. They had taken the towels and pillow cases-I had to track down one of the staff to get them replaced.

This property is located adjacent to a parking garage, and drivers departing the disco and downtown area squealed their tires while exiting until the wee hours.

The location is covenient, but I'll pass on this property the next time I'm in Sac Town.
