The rooms were in like new condition and had modern decor. The room was quiet but you could hear every bump or foot step from the rooms next door or above. The rooms had a stuffy odor. The food was great yet the service was very slow. The conference rooms were poorly heated and very cold most of the time. There was no hot water in any of the restrooms other than the motel rooms. The motel is still under construction yet no work was taking place. There were construction dumpsters in the parking lot and the place had a deserted look. I would not want my car in the parking lot over night. The lighting was very dim and didn't provide a safe feeling. The motel was difficult to get to off the busy highway.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Red Lion Last week. Easy, friendly check in. Bell staff helped me with my luggage. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Room service was great! Great food. I highly recommend The Red Lion at Arden Village to everyone. I can wait to go back.

I was pleasently surprised by my visit. Normally Red Lion Hotels are nothing to write home about but this one seems to be a lot better than ever. Service is certainly better and the rooms a lot cleaner. The hotel was a great value and i will definitely stay there again. Also the restaurant is all new and really good-not too expensive for a hotel restaurant.

My husband and I got together with our grown children to re-visit Sacramento, which we hadn't done since their childhood. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The hotel's restaurant has great food. Also, many restaurants and the Arden Fair Mall are nearby. The next time my husband has a business trip in Sacramento, I'll be going with him! And I'm looking forward to another trip to just sit around and enjoy the pool.
