Checked in late night and asked for a non-smoking room away from the traffic. Clerk put me upstairs at the back in a clean, beautiful room that smelled a little of smoke but not too bad (I thought) to remain there, since I was exhausted. By early morning the smell of smoke began to bother me, so I cracked the window a little to air the room. By around 9am, I was awakened by the sound of 2 men talking and knocking on my door. I yelled that I didn't want maid service and rolled over to go back to sleep. In the next instant, the window flew open and a leg was coming through! I screamed obscenities at them in the loudest voice I could muster and they took off running. Upon check-out, the desk clerk made it right by completing an incident report and writing off the room charges, which I thought was nice. I hope this review gets posted for all of those other single, female business travellers out there thinking of staying at this hotel. This event happened in broad daylight! Please, BE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
