I visited this hotel one night during my husband's weeklong business trip and while he said it was fine for him, I am glad I wasn't the one staying there all week! We had stayed here before over a weekend and we had a room facing the freeway (VERY LOUD) but this time we had a quieter location.
The bed was fine although the sheets just couldn't stay on the corners. What was disgusting to me was the bathroom. The tile floors were missing most of the grout, probably from standing water over time. The toilet had mold growing in it and the sink was filthy. The whole bathroom just seemed really dirty.
Also, as with most hotels, you could hear EVERY conversation through the door, including the very loud housekeeping person and the supervisor that followed her around and yelled at her all morning!!!
Sadly, when evening comes, there is NOTHING going on in this hotel. No convenience store, no snack vending machines, and absolutely no restaurant near by. Even the bar here was closed by 10 p.m. Be prepared to get in your car and drive should you want to grab a bite! I ate breakfast in the ACES restaurant in the morning. The food was mediocre at best and the service was lousy. You do get a full pot of coffee on your table, but the "buffet" was just not worth the money.
The front desk was vacated at 11p.m. and people were just wandering in and around the room corridors. It was obvious they weren't staying there which made me a bit nervous. I did NOT feel safe at this hotel.
Hubby said the jacuzzi was nice, but the pool is very basic.
Overall, I would say this is a 3-star hotel, but the room we had and the lack of facilities in the evening made me give it a 2-star rating. It is very close to the freeway and about 20-minutes from the airport, but security would be a BIG factor if I were bringing my kids or traveling alone.
