I always stay here on the way to Tahoe for snowboarding and when going to concerts in Sacramento. The place is conveniently located off of I-5 and close to shopping and food at Truxel. It's the perfect halfway point between the bay area and Lake Tahoe.

I am always greeted with warm smiles and enthusiasm even when I arrive in the late night hours. The staff is helpful and caring.

The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Shower pressure is a very nice! : )
Some rooms have large double beds and its perfect for a snowboarding trip
with friends.

I've encountered nice family people during breakfast hours or at the pool.
I've gone swimming here on summer nights.
The breakfast is really good.
Variety of juices, muffins, healthy bread, cereal, waffles, and even fruit.

Definitely a plus to have a jacuzzi and breakfast at no extra cost to you.

We were "guaranteed" the reservation. Knowing I had a long trip, I called the hotel at 7:00pm to let them know I would be there around 11pm. The clerk verified my "King" room and said no problem. We got in at 1045 and were told that they gave away our room despite my telephone call but were told that after a room was cleaned we wold have a "Queen" room-which is cheaper on the web-site but I had to ask if the rate would be lowered. We waited 45 minutes, and then finally sent to a room-which was in an old part of the hotel and two double beds! When I called the clerk, he told me that he knew the beds were doubles but thought it better to send me to a room then to make me wait for the real Queen room-after i insisted on the Queen room, he finally called back after 30 minutes to tell me he had no Queens but i could have the room at half-off because he had called the manager(who was not available before when I asked). We ended up leaving after the clerk admitted that he lied and then I had to get a room down the street. To make matters worse, I called customer service and they jerked me around through 3 telephone calls to get resolution.

After sitting for one hour on the tarmac at Sacramento Airport waiting for United Airlines to fix my flight, we were cancelled and had to wait overnight for another flight home. United put us up at the Ramada Limited near old town in Sacramento. While myself and around a hundred other passengers showed on Ramada's doorstep at the same time, the one and only clerk, Dee Anthony, calmly took great care of all of us with a smile and grace. The hotel itself is fine and clean, a little on the older side, but comfortable and spacious. I would definately stay here again...and next time planned.

Fine hotel for quick trip to the city. Breakfast was great, make your own waffles! Donuts, cereal, yogurt, bagels, juice, etc. Not standard roll and coffee. King size bed was comfortable, room was clean. Hotel staff very nice. Would stay again.
