We were "guaranteed" the reservation. Knowing I had a long trip, I called the hotel at 7:00pm to let them know I would be there around 11pm. The clerk verified my "King" room and said no problem. We got in at 1045 and were told that they gave away our room despite my telephone call but were told that after a room was cleaned we wold have a "Queen" room-which is cheaper on the web-site but I had to ask if the rate would be lowered. We waited 45 minutes, and then finally sent to a room-which was in an old part of the hotel and two double beds! When I called the clerk, he told me that he knew the beds were doubles but thought it better to send me to a room then to make me wait for the real Queen room-after i insisted on the Queen room, he finally called back after 30 minutes to tell me he had no Queens but i could have the room at half-off because he had called the manager(who was not available before when I asked). We ended up leaving after the clerk admitted that he lied and then I had to get a room down the street. To make matters worse, I called customer service and they jerked me around through 3 telephone calls to get resolution.
