I stayed here for the first time five years ago and recently returned on business. The hotel has really been run down. I was surprised to hear that they had recently renovated. The rooms look good as does the check in area. However the hallways are really dingy and the common areas leave a lot to be desired. The location can't be beat, but their current pricing is way too high for what you get. You definately get cheated by trying to use the Internet connection provided in the lobby. You get charged $6 just to log on for a dial up connection. Hello, this is 2006! Also the Continental Breakfast and free coffee promoted seemed to be non existent.

I stayed at the Clarion Hotel Mansion Inn for one night at the end of May and had a fine experience. Despite arriving 2 hours before check-in, the hotel staff was very helpful in getting me into a room for the all-important afternoon nap. This hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of the conference center, a variety of restaurants, and Mike's Bikes. I recommend it.

I am really sorry that I PAID them money to stay at this run-down, filthy hotel. I feel completely cheated out by the web site that sold this hotel room to me.

I travel frequently and found the Manion Inn to be full of wonderful service oriented people. Yes, the hotel is older, but it provides a sense of charm, unlike the big box hotels down the street. The food in the restaurant was very good and the service the same. Can't wait for the weather to change in order to enjoy that beautiful outdoor pool.
