I will not go back to this motel because their service was very unprofessional, tv did not work, shuttle only started at 9am, etc.

The good: The location is terrific, right off the highway by the airport (but far enough to be quiet).
The Sacramento American River Trail is right out the back door, a locked entry way allows access to Discovery Park and miles of trail, delightful!
The rooms here are larger than expected.
There is a decent little Mexican chain-restaurant on the hotel property.
There is internet access available in the reception area.

The bad: The location is bit dangerous, a high-crime area. Do NOT open your door if anyone knocks, this happened to us but no one answered when asked to identify themselves. They have security on the property, but they are not active, and a check of the Sacramento police records shows a lot of theft and problems on this street (Jibboom).

Overall - a great value for the money, a little self-awareness about locking doors, etc. will keep you safe, and the location can't be beat! Ah, a nice walk in the park after a Mexican dinner - not bad.

We stayed for one night enroute to our final destination and have re-booked another hotel for the way back. Our room was very dark and disappointing. There were dead flies on the window sill. The carpet was not clean. The reception staff was terrible - very unfriendly. The overall impression is that the property is dated and needs renovation. I would not stay here again. The wireless reception was VERY slow and not high speed by any stretch of the imagination.

I have stayed in this motel twice over a 5 year period, and both times found it clean, accessible, and very comfortable. I plan on staying there again when I am in the neighborhood and would gladly recommend it to anyone.
