This is a very nice and clean hotel. Our room had a big bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The room was spotless clean. Their “continental” breakfast offers more than you can think of; it includes a wide variety of food such as breakfast cereal, fruit, bagels, waffles, milk, yogurt, coffee, juices, oatmeal, etc. Their receptionist was very friendly during check-in and check-out. I highly recommend it. We would definitely stay here again.

“Typical Fairfield with Great Employees”

Open for two years, this Fairfield Inn is a typical Fairfield experience with great staff making the difference. Located near but not close to SMF airport, the Fairfield offers standard rooms but above average service. Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. Two comfortable double beds with standard amenities. Bathroom has ample room, nice shower, locker room quality towels and good water pressure in the shower. Two suggestions would be to add a directory of TV channels and basic heating and cooling instructions to their booklet of service. Our room, facing the front of the property, had bright flood lights shining into the room causing us to drape bedding over the drapes to block out the bright lights. Breakfast is good with very attentive staff that is on top of the food items. Again Fairfield fails by not providing enough tables for people to eat but instead has comfortable stuffed chairs where you need to balance your drink and breakfast on your lap. Removing some of the stuffed chairs and adding a few more tables would make it a better experience. Free internet in the lobby and fast shuttle service to the airport. Internet pricing makes this property a reasonable place to stay in the Sacramento area. As others have mentioned, the location is somewhat isolated so a car is needed if you want to find dining and shopping. We enjoyed a day in Sonoma with a great time tasting wine in Alexander Valley. Overall, a fine place to stay with standard Fairfield quality.

“Nice stopover spot”

Fairfield Inn & Suites Sacramento Airport Natomas

Jan 3, 2008

Nice newer facility with good breakfast variety. Very easy access from I-80 and I-5 for one-night stopover. Clean and large room, quick check-in and check-out. Slight negative is that there is limited variety of close restaurants - just a truck stop and a fast-food place.

    • Liked — Clean rooms, new facility.
    • Disliked — No close-by medium-quality restaurants.

“Excellent Hotel for a Good Price”

Fairfield Inn & Suites Sacramento Airport Natomas

Vancouver, WA
Jan 2, 2008

My husband and I just returned from Sacramento after 4 days visiting family in the Natomas area. From previous trips, we've discovered that other hotels in the area are either dumpy or way overpriced because of their proximity to the airport. We were VERY pleased with the Fairfield and will stay there on future trips. It's convenient just off I-80 and priced reasonably. The "weekend" rate on-line was $94/night, which is good for that area, but we got it for $80/night with AAA. (No AARP discount.)
Clean, nicely decorated and maintained facility and room. Excellent bed..one of the best in our hotel experience with plenty of pillows and quality linens. Bathroom had toiletries and hairdryer, coffee maker and wonderful shower with a strong spray. My only complaint about the bathroom was that there is no exhaust fan so it gets pretty steamy.
The room was a bit cramped with a King bed and lounge chair with ottoman, but otherwise met all our needs.
You get a newspaper at your door in the AM.
The continental breakfast is well stocked and served in a large attractive room with a fireplace and large flat screen tv. Breakfast included hardboiled eggs, oatmeal with toppings, bacon and egg sandwiches you could heat in the microwave, cereals, rolls, bagels, muffins, fruit, and u-bake waffles.
The employees were all very friendly and helpful, greeting us and asking if we needed anything. The lady overseeing the lounge area even thanked us for coming to have breakfast!
We will definitely stay there again!

“Good Value”

Fairfield Inn & Suites Sacramento Airport Natomas

Nov 5, 2007

As per previous reviews, this is a good value. Booked decent rate through the hotel web site (Marriott) and this property is often offered for less on Marriott ebreak rates. The hotel is clean, friendly staff, average breakfast bar, nice pool. You will need a car to get to your meetings or sight see. But it is very easy to navigate via El Camino Blvd. over to I-5 and the downtown/Old Town area or Arco Arena. Standard rooms do not have a microwave or refrigerator.
