We were very excited to try the new restaurant on the river but it was a waste of time. The service was not great, very slow and not particularly friendly. I have eaten at Scott in the bay area and one in the fair oaks area.
The chowder was excellent, the salad was ok, but the blackened snapper I ordered was inedible. It was like the cook took a piece of fish sprinkled a bunch of Chili powder on it and threw it on the grill. No flavor except chile powder. Dry and nasty. You notice I didn't say chef.
I didn't want to send it back but I should have, we paid the bill and walked out. We won't be back.
I had great expectations that were dashed!
