Although this hotel is very modern and well presented, I'm not sure if they remembered to sound-proof the walls when they built it. One of the rooms we checked into was dirty so had to wait for it to be cleaned. While waiting in another room, could here couple in the next room very easily, and they weren't watching TV. Finally got into my room, but was on the other side of the noisy room and had interconnecting doors - could hear EVERYTHING! Was pleased to be upgraded when complained about the noise. No restaurants adjacent or within walking distance, so be prepared to drive.

I've stayed here twice, and would stay here every day if i could! The folks at the front desk are very polite, and friendly. Since the place is fairly new, it still has that fresh smell instead of that 'musty' smell that some hotels have ... The rooms are fantastic, and very, very clean. They also have the drapes that fall to the floor, which helps when you dont want any sunlight so you can sleep ! Absolutly wonderful!

Two colleagues and I stayed one night (10/21/03) at the Hampton Inn and Suites. Each of us was upgraded to a suite at no additional charge. The suites included a large sitting room, with microwave and refrigerator, a nice bedroom, and two large bathrooms. The breakfast was a little nicer than your average Hampton Inn. We found ourselves wishing we were there for longer.

I am not familiar with Sacramento and can't comment on the location, but I would definitely recommend the hotel.
