Went to CC lanes to go bowling, who the H E double toothpicks set the price of $33.00 per hour?!!!! I walked out when I heard that. I was in Tahoe last week and paid $28.00 for a round of golf that included a cart!!!! As the previous reviewer says, sticky floors and nasty bathrooms. I'm switching back to golf!

This place is way over priced! First you pay $5.00 per person to get in at the front door. Is this a night club or a bowling alley? After you pay the $5.00 admission fee, you go to the front counter where you're surpised with the $30.00 per hour lane use fee. What the &*^! On top of paying all these fees, the staff is rude and unprofessional. Either pay or go. By the way, after you pay the $5.00 admission fee, should you decide you do not want to pay the hourly lane fee, your $5.00 per person fee is NOT refundable. How's that for customer service! Country Club Lanes -----!

I dont recommend Country Club lanes. I frequented this place myself, because, well, its one of the few lovely things open all night. However, the prices are high. In particular, my friend wanted to go bowling for her birthday. I wanted to go to be with the party girl, but not play because i had a bad day and was broke. However, to my horror, there was 5 dollar charge at the door, just to enter! Many of the times i went there, there were soda spills sticking on the floor. The bathrooms are disgusting. I liked the arcade, but it is always so busy! you should just go somewhere else. Bowling the same; there are two or three other bowling lanes, that while they dont have "black lights" and flashy disco balls, are way less expensive.

I grew up in Sacramento (many years ago) and when we went bowling as kids, it was at Country Club Lanes. Now in my 50's we only go occaisionally, the annual family grudge match, but it's fun to see how nicely updated the place is. They have a little bit of everything from video games to "black-light" neon bowling. Our group ranges in age from 12 to 51 and we all have a great time. This is definitely not a mid-western bolwing alley that only appeals to league players. The facilities are kept in good shape and I have no hesitation in recommending it to any and all groups.
