The renovated rooms were nice but construction was ongoing and early. The so-called "free" WiFi never worked.

This morning when I checked out the clerk refused to give me a receipt.

I travel more than 100 days out of the year for business. The clerk told me that due to the fact that I had used Orbitz he would not give me a receipt. I use Orbitz all the time and have always received a receipt for my stay at other hotels. I need the receipt for my travel expense account. The clerk then refused to give me even a sheet of letterhead for me to write a receipt on.

This sort of rudeness is unnecessary and should not be tolerated. I hope you will consider another hotel before staying here.

We stayed at the "new" Days Inn in Sacramento (what was formerly the Capital Inn). Renovations have not been completed on the front of the building where the lobby is but a new wing was being completed where our room was. I think we were the first people to stay in the room which was spacious and very clean. After checking in, we got a call from the front desk asking if everything was in order. The pool area is in the front of the property and still needs a facelift. It was clean except for some "stucco" or other substance that was on the bottom of the pool. The only other problem was the noise of the loud tv in the room next to us. The breakfast room was cheery and had a great selection of danish, bagel, cereals and fresh fruit. There was even a computer terminal to use there. All in all, I would say that once all of the work is finished, this Days Inn will be a great place to stay.

I reserved a days inn hotel in Sacremento. But when I went there it was not days inn. It was capitol inn. And when I went to the hotel there was a board saying no vacancy. When I went inside the Hotel Manager told me that my reservation was cancelled. And it was around midnight. But I never cancelled it. So I called days inn. The rep was not at all helpful. What he told me was "since you are not staying at the hotel you won't be charged". And the hotel manager didn't even help me find a hotel. So I had to drive around in the mid night to find a hotel nearby and the price at each place was too high because I went late. So that is my experience with days inn. I don't think I will ever stay at days inn.Do you want to stay there?
