 Restaurant Question

A couple of years ago I was in Sacramento on business and ate a restaurant that was located in an old house. I seem to remember it being called the Cooper Duck, but I cannot find any restaurant by that name in the Sacramento area. Does anyone know the name of the restaurant I am referring to? I feel like it had a metal and an animal in its name, but I could be way off. It served American food and (I think) had tables on more than one level of the "house."

If I can figure this out, my wife an I may go there for dinner when we visit in the middle of August.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hee hee not copper but rusty! simba is correct. It's right off I 5 at Richards Blvd. Turn right at the bottom of the offramp and then Left at Bercut all the way down to where Bercut bends.

Yelp says they've gone out of business, and I seem to recall hearing that somewhere else too.

Try this joint, I found it a couple weeks back on our anniversary. The food and service is just about perfect.

Oh my that's true. It closed last October!

I love Moxie. Try to sit in the front part of the restaurant as the ventilation system is not optimal. I reeked like food when I last left as I was seated past the middle of the restaurant.

Thanks for all of your help. I knew it was something metallic and fowl. I'm sorry to hear that it closed. I guess this is just a sign that we need to eat somewhere else instead. I will certainly check out Moxie online and see what their menu is all about.

dc: their printed menu is meager. What makes the place is the specials. The host comes over and rattles them off and you got to be on your toes to remember them all. From what I recall when I was there, there was lamb, ribeye, NY strip, a pork dish, Chilean sea bass, halibut, Ahi tuna, and some more things I am forgetting now.
