We've enjoyed ourselves and the meal everytime we've visited. We've celebrated many birthdays and just quiet evenings out enjoying this wonderful restauant with high quality meals. Consistently excellent food in a charming converted firehouse. For Sacramento, the food is a welcome surprise--imaginative and well-prepared in an intimate mid-town location. The outside dining patio is great for summer dining al fresco. The staff is friendly, too, and the service is attentive but not cloying. A larger dessert menu would not be unwelcome. more

What's not to praise about this quirky restaurant? From the delightful eclecticism of its decor, through the clear professionalism of its staff, right down to the soul satisfying menu and its fresh local produce, this is the target at which all chefs aim. As always, Patrick (Mulvaney) does a great job! Every dish was excellent. Patrick catered our wedding with the culinary specialists and did an incredible job. So we were very excited to try his restaurant. It exceeded expectations. Really good food in Sacramento, what a treat! more
