I grew up in Sacramento, and Leatherby's is a tradition. Primarily an old fashioned ice cream parlor, they make the best (and biggest) sundaes around. My friends wanted to go to The Cheesecake Factory, but I persuaded them to go to Leatherby's. Little did I know that since Big Daddy Dave Leatherby isn't running things on the day-to-day, everything is different, especially the regard for customers. While waiting to be seated next to the "Please Wait To Be Seated Sign," everyone was walking past us... more
