I've been racking my brains to think about how to describe my evening at The Kitchen. In all my culinary adventures on 3 continents, this was the most unique dining event ever! I enjoy fine dining and cooking and have had many wonderful meals in many cities, but this really stands out. They serve a “fixed” menu of 5 courses over about 4 hours which changes monthly and is posted on the website ([--]). This is by far the best place to eat in Sacramento. A special event place! The kitchen is open to the dining room and the chef acts as a host for the night.
