Stayed 1 night at the Hyatt Regency when passing by Sacramento. Loved every moment of my stay. Nice staff, everything extremely clean and tidy, good beds and big rooms. Perfect stay! more

I stayed at the Hyatt during a four day trip to Sacramento for business. My colleague recommended the property based on the high level of service and the proximity to the State Capitol, due to the fact that we spend most of our time in this area, lobbying legislators and their staff. Overall, I found the facility to exceed my... more

There was an odd vibe at the lobby bar (the one near the front by the glass). The bartender had a dismissive attitude. Later we attended a dinner function in the Capitol View Room adn the staff there was much more friendly and accomodating. Nice view of the Capitol building. The food was okay. more

Staff was overwhelmingly nice and made our stay excellent. Arrived late and the front desk was warm and friendly at check-in. We were greeted with the most delicious plums in our room with a friendly note. Had an excellent night of sleep with the curtains open and an excellent view of the Capitol. When we woke up in the morning... more

Great location, very accomodating front desk service, and reasonably good facitilites, but major, major problems with airconditioners in what appears to be all rooms. I had a sleepless night due to a very loud airconditioner that would turn on every 15 minutes or so for a total of 30 seconds, just enough to jerk me out of REM. Moved to... more

Stayed here for a a Conference that was being held at the Convention Center. It's an easy walk back and forth. The rooms are really comfortable although the bedding is very loud so if you toss and turn, you may wake your roommate! Don't pick up anything from the mini-bar or you'll be charged! There's a note inside the mini-bar... more

Sep 22, 2008 | Trip type: Family

My family and I stayed at the Hyatt for one night in an effort to break up our trip from San Diego to Lake Tahoe. We arrived late in the evening on a warm summer night. Our two kids were extremely restless after spending several hours in the car, and they literally ran by the front desk to go out... more

I think the Hyatt was nice in it's day, but it needs an update. The location is great, across from the park and central to everything (1 blk to capitol). The staff was always very professional and friendly. As for the rooms, pretty dated but still comfortable, although dull and kindof depressing. The fitness facility is below average, the pool... more

I stayed at this property for business. The SMOKING room was booked months in advance. When I arrived, I was told there were no smoking rooms, so I asked for a room with a balcony. They did have one, but made me sign an "agreement" that if I smoked on the balcony, I would be charged the $250.00 clean fee... more
