I stayed here on a business trip and twice in two days cars were broken into by smashing the driver windows. This was in broad daylight and in the front area near the entry! Staff conceded there were no security cameras in the parking lot and I never saw a security guard. The pool and spa were closed "for health... more

When we booked our room we were told we would have a refrigerator and a hot breakfast included with the room. Upon checking in, we found no refrigerator. I called the front desk and was told it was an extra $28. I asked about our "included" hot breakfast and was told that was not part of our reservation. I had... more

Let me start by saying that the staff at this hotel is far superior to the hotel itself. This crew should br working at a Four Seasons if Sacramento had one. I actually stayed here because we wanted to see the band playing in their bar and not drive home after drinking. The room needed a good carpet and furniture... more

This is an older hotel that saw it's heyday when McClellan Air Base was still active and catered to military personnel. Now it appears to cater primarily to civilian federal and state personnel, but while I was there, I did see a group of young kids staying there. The Aces restaurant is situated in the hotel and has a military... more

I didn't book my hotel reservations. Stayed in Sacramento for 4 days to attend family reunion. The lobby area was open and attractive. Noticed the room was dated especially showing some wear in the bathroom. Unfortunately my room was under a generator or something because it made noise all night long in additon to the air conditioning having to work... more

I visited this hotel one night during my husband's weeklong business trip and while he said it was fine for him, I am glad I wasn't the one staying there all week! We had stayed here before over a weekend and we had a room facing the freeway (VERY LOUD) but this time we had a quieter location. The bed... more

We arrived on Thur. 6/14 and had reserved a room with a sitting room (suite)... it was not as pictured, but it was o.k. Room 642 - corner unit - one window faced the pool area, the other window faced the highway. We left on Sunday 6/17. This hotel is very close to the highway, next to a Ford Dealership/industrial... more

The front-desk staff could not have been nicer and the location was very convenient to I-80. The guest rooms needed maintenance (paint, trim replacement, bathtub fixture reinforcement etc.) and the advertised guest room "refurbishing" looks like it was done somewhat "on the cheap". The bedding and towles were clean and the beds were satisfactory. The grounds, lobby and front desk... more

Stayed here for two nights on business for $99/night. The hotel is 30-45 minutes from downtown Sacramento. There are a lot of stores and restaurants in the area (you'll need a car). Try "Strings" restaurant about a mile down the road for some decent Italian food. Bed was comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean. Service was friendly and efficient. Workout... more

Stayed at the Holiday Inn on September 24, 2005. This hotel is nothing special. Bedding looks worn and so does the upholstery on the sofa in the room I had. Bathroom was clean, but also dated.... I think during the last remodel, they installed a plastic all-in-one prefab shower/tub unit over the existing tub. Why? because when I got in... more
