I recently returned from a stay at the Courtyard and it was great. The room was large compared to others in Sacramento I have stayed at. The bed was comfortable and the tv was nice. One of the lights in my room didn't work but I contacted the front desk and they had someone come and change it within minutes.... more

My husband, six year old son and I stayed for three nights on a long weekend trip to Sacramento. I used reward points for two nights so thought this was a decent deal. The pros: The restaurant food is pretty good and not really overpriced. The hotel staff were great. The outdoor pool was kept quite warm and even in... more

The Hotel is new and that shows, but the staff was excellent. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff everyone was attentive and went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. more

Oh my gosh! It was 10 pm and I had just gone to sleep and a train sounds like it is going through my room. Every hour another train would come through and they would lay on the horn the entire length of the hotel. It must be something they do to get their jollies. If you want to sleep,... more

I normally find myself in agreement with TripAdvisor reviews, but I have to disagree with most everyone about this Courtyard. Maybe I just stayed at the wrong time, but let me share my experience. First night there, I was kept up all night by the sound of freight trains blaring their horns, every 1/2 hour. Then starting at about 7:30am... more

I booked a stay via the hotel website and got a Queen Queen Room (2 Queen/1 Bath) with the “Stay for Breakfast” option. Our stay was a long weekend during the fall of 2007. This is a nice, recently updated or completely remodeled facility. The rooms were contemporary, clean, spacious, and the bed & pillows were comfortable. The size was... more

The Courtyard Cal Expo center is a nice facility for this type of property. Their public space is kept spotless and the rooms are well maintained. The location of the property let me down, It is in a remote area of the city that does not have many choices for dining wihtin a short walking distance. Just to clarify ,they... more

What a great hotel! I have to admit, I had my doubts as I drove to this hotel from the airport. We went through what can only be called a "no-man's land" but then emerged at a small strip mall, complete with a Starbucks, pizza place, and Taco del Mar, and, just down the street, this Marriott Courtyard. The girl... more

Stayed here at the Courtyard on a Saturday to go to the State Fair on Sunday. The location is just off of the freeway, so freeway access is superb. Check in was smooth and went without a hitch. I was given my room keys, a parking pass, and my free breakfast pass for 4 people as advertised. Parking is no... more
