Great Hotel, Great Locatons, Great Beds what more can I say. I had the best sleep ever. Staff members were exceptional, went above and beyond my expectations. They treated me like family. This hotel will be my number 1 hotel whenever I'm in Sacramento more
Clean and friendly. Everything is very comfortable and the staff were nice. Seems like they could keep a little more up to date on their rooms - the TV remote didn't work (seems they had changed TVs, but not all the remotes, according to desk staff) and the card reader to my room stopped working when its battery died. Still,... more
This hotel is really just okay the room smelled of smoke either cigarettes or burning wires somewhere, there was a ghetto fridge sitting in the middle of our room. The elevator did not work in the front, the key would not open the back door from outside to get inside after hours, the key would not open the fitness center,... more
I came to Sacramento for a conference; because the conference was sold out, my travel department chose this hotel for me. For $150, you don't get much for your money, reminded me of a slightly run down college dorm. The room smelled not of smoke but as if someone had been cooking in it earlier. Woke up to the sound... more
Good location for downtown. Comfortable inviting room with good beds. Front desk was inattentive but helpful when I needed help. Elevator in front was in disrepair/not working for majority of the visit with no notice on it where other elevator was. Breakfast area was crowded so I took it up to my room. But, nice, clean safe place - pleasant... more
I was in Sacramento on business (not a convention), and stayed here for two days because a business associate had stayed here - it was close to our client. I stay at Holiday Inn/Express or Hamptons when possible. I find they most consistently deliver what they promise and I can expect they will meet certain standards. Not so with this... more
Stayed here for two nights in September 2006. The building seemed very old & had alot of things that could have been upgraded. The room was average size, but again was outdated. Noticed that the maid service could have been a little better. The hallway carpeting was very dirty & stayed that way for several days. We had two double... more
We had stayed at the Clarion in their annex a few years ago. So when we pulled up to the Holiday Inn Express we were very surprised to see the old annex had been converted to the Holiday Inn Express. It has a whole new look and a lot of money was spent on renovations inside and out. The rooms... more
We stayed just one night at this Holiday Inn Express in July 2006. I like to stay at hotels that serve a free continental breakfast, as this one does, and the price was pretty good for a Saturday night ($95 for a 2 double bed room). The outside of the hotel is attractive; the location is relatively close to downtown... more
