My family and I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites-Riverfront Promenade in June for 3 days... I would like to thank the following... Charles, thanks for getting my parents a great room with a view of the River! Jamar, thanks for taking us back and forth from the airport. Thanks to all of the housekeepers, food service crew (especially the... more

My host who suggested I stay at this property was concernced I wouldn't like it-but no worries! This Embassy Suites is done in the open atrium style of several others at which I have stayed. I was on the conceirage level so I am not sure if my room differed from the rest , but it was nicer than any... more

I had my car broken into, damaged, & many possessions stolen from using the valet service at this hotel. The hotel will not call me back. This hotel is in an increasingly dangerous part of Sacramento, where car vandalism is a regular occurrence. If you stay here don't take a car, you are forced to use the valet, & they... more

The only complaint I have about this place is the $25 valet parking and/or the $24 parking across the street. Other than that this hotel is an exceptional deal. The rooms are decorated very nicely with a living room and a bedroom and 2 large lcd screens in each room. The bathroom is nice with granite countertops and a good... more

We spent 5 nights there for our winter break vacation so the kids could see some gold rush sites and visit the state capitol. The room setup was excellent for a family of 4 - we had a river view room with 2 beds and the living room had a pullout sofa bed. The room was spacious and had nice... more

I really enjoy this hotel. It is convenient to several attractons in Sacramento and the Capitol. Its across the street from Old Sacramento. The staff is great and helpful. The breakfast buffet is really good. Parking price is a bit steep. more

My husband and I wanted to do something special with the kids for New Years Eve, so we booked a room here since it is located right on the river, next to the tower bridge where they do the fireworks and because it's right next to Old Town Sacramento. We had a N facing room which is the front of... more

THE GOOD The hotel is very close to the train museum which is why we stayed here. With two young kids, we couldn't resist going to the Polar Express event offered at the train museum and this hotel is just blocks away....very convenient. The hotel itself packs some nice amenities including an indoor pool, a basic fitness room, and a... more

Just spent two nights at Embassy Suites in Sacramento. Second time we've stayed there. Had Riverview last time and this time had other side of the hotel with view of the whole city and looked down on Interstate-5. Our choice next time would be the view of the city and I-5 again. The River view side is not that great,... more

Ok no hotel is perfect. As a Hilton Honors GOLD VIP, God knows I stay in my fair share of hotels. For the amount of times I critique hotels I can honestly say that this Embassy Suites hotel is truly the best I have stayed in yet! YES IT IS THE BEST EMBASSY SUITES I HAVE STAYED IN YET. The... more
