My wife and I stayed here for 1 night on the second leg of our 3 week honeymoon. The hotel is nicely located, under a mile to Old Sac and very close to the Capitol. The rooms are spacious and quiet, with above average bathrooms for a 3 star hotel. Breakfast wasn't cheap, but it was plenty and the quality... more

The hotel was good. The room was modern and clean. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good as well. If I needed to stay in Sacramento I would stay here again. more

My office travel agent scheduled me here for a one night stay. All went well until around 4 a.m., when I awoke with a terrible itching. At around 6 a.m. I called my wife, the scientist in the family. She suggested I peel back the sheets and the mattress pad and check the corners of the bed. Sure enough, in... more

Usually convention hotels are too crowded and less comfortable than this one. Definitely comfortable bed, though some noise comes from the hallway. The convenience to the convention halls right across the street can't be beat. A nice morning coffee stand, good restaurant, good lobby cocktail service. I only have an issue with the lobby design itself; it seems low ceilinged... more

Very pretty hotel with wonderful accommodations and an ideal location. Within walking distance of most of Sacramento's attractions, including the Capitol and Old Sacramento. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Lobby bar was a very popular meeting place and the buffet breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. more

My boyfriend and I booked a room with a King bed and a view through Orbitz.com toward the end of 2008. When we arrived in the room it was dark and appeared to be okay. Everything was fine until we pulled down the bedsheets to check the cleanliness of our bed (a habit I practice any time I'm not sleeping... more

You cannot do better than the Sheraton Sacto if you are going to the Convention Center - downtown, the Capitol or want somewhere interesting to explore. Walking is easy - fwys close and easy to find everything. Hotel was most accomodating - I asked a couple times on reservation matters & internet use but ultimately got good answers that made... more

Had a feeling was not going to be impressed when I checked in at 3:30pm. Agent at front desk went to the back to work on my room while other guests came up after me got their room keys and were off to thier rooms. I decided to self park the car when I came back the agent was still... more

The hotel is very nice, with fairly large rooms that are clean and well-decorated. My first room was 902 and smelled terribly of cooking smoke - it was located directly above a restaurant vent that was belching smoke. When I complained, their first offer was to move me to 602 - three floors closer to the source of the smoke.... more
