This place was wonderful. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is very functional. The breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, string cheese, yogurt and fresh fruit along with the usual cereal, juice, toast, muffins, bagels, etc. Plus, they serve Starbucks coffee! I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay near Sacramento State University. It's... more

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. Granted, the hotel was nice due to a recent renovation (I think it used to be a Candlewood) but the service was horrible. By the end of the weekend I did not care if the hotel was nice or not.....I just wanted out. The first room we checked... more

We loved the Larkspur Landing! The feature that I liked best was the free laundry facility (detergent $1), since we were travelling with our toddler. They offer free cookies between 5 and 9pm (sugar and chocolate chip). There is a VCR/DVD in every room with free video library checkout. We stayed 5 nights to attend a wedding... the rooms were spacious and clean. The room came w/ a full size fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwve. There was a nice spacious work area. The continental breakfast was better than average ~ if you wanted hot breakfast, Mel's Diner was a short walk away. The best part was the free washer/dryer... more

I made web reservation for Standard 1 bedroom suite but was given "MINI" Suite (Studio) since thats all they had left. However this Hotel is Modern, and Clean in nice area not far from central Sacto. more
