We stayed at the Delta King in Old Sacramento for one night after our Amtrak train trip from Denver. Our train pulled in 6 hours late and we didn't arrive at the Delta King until after 10pm. Stop by one of the candy shops for free taffy samples & a huge variety old-syle candy. Get a Western-style picture or take a train ride. Summer time offers different activities.
